The Fito+ BioCide Range is a collection of high-performance, eco-friendly and biodegradable cleaning products designed to deliver effective hygiene while remaining gentle on the skin and greywater-systems. The range consists of the BioCide Dishwashing gel, BioCide Multipurpose concentrate and BioCide Multipurpose spray cleaner. Both the BioCide Dishwashing gel and BioCide Multipurpose concentrate can be diluted (1:15 or 1:1000) with foaming and proven germ-killing reduction, making these products highly cost-effective.

A biocide is a substance that controls or eliminates harmful microorganisms such as bacteria, mould, fungi, and spores. Unlike traditional biocides that rely on harsh chemicals, the BioCide Range uses naturally derived actives to achieve effective lab-tested disinfection without unnecessary toxicity. The following terms describe how a biocidal product works against different microorganisms: • Bactericidal: Kills bacteria • Sporicidal: Eliminates resistant spores • Fungicidal: Destroys fungi and mould The Fito+ BioCide Range has been lab tested to demonstrate activity across all three categories when used as directed.

When used as directed, the Fito+ BioCide product range are gentle on skin, low-odour, non-volatile, free from unnecessary harsh chemicals, safe for family homes, children and pets, suitable for regular cleaning routines, and compatible with septic tanks and greywater systems. The BioCide Dishwashing Gel can be used concentrated or diluted for daily washing, cleaning, and disinfecting of cutlery, ceramics, glass, plastic, pots, and pans, and is also suitable for wiping down surfaces, leaving dishes and surfaces cleaner, shinier, and hands noticeably softer than conventional dishwashing gels. The BioCide Multipurpose Concentrate works concentrated or diluted for all household cleaning needs, safe for most surfaces including sealed granite, quartz, engineered stone, tiles, ceramic, glass, stainless steel, and most plastics and laminates, leaving surfaces, furniture, and appliances hygienic and shiny. The BioCide Multipurpose Spray Cleaner can be applied directly to most hard surfaces; for high-level disinfection, allow 5 minutes contact time, and for heavily soiled areas, wash/scrub to remove debris first, then spray evenly and leave for 5 minutes to disinfect effectively. Applying Fito+ BioCide cleaners correctly ensures maximum cleaning and disinfection while keeping surfaces and hands safe. Here’s a simple guide: 1. Prepare the solution • Dilute the product according to the recommended ratio: • Up to 1:1000 for standard hygienic cleaning • Up to 1:15 for high-level disinfection 2. Apply to surfaces • Dishwashing: Add gel to running water or pre-dilute in a basin. Wash dishes, utensils, and food-contact surfaces with a clean sponge or cloth. • Multipurpose cleaning: Use a mop, cloth, or spray bottle to apply the solution to countertops, floors, bathroom surfaces, or other hard surfaces. Ensure even coverage. 3. Allow contact time • For effective germ-killing, leave the solution on surfaces for at least 5 minutes before rinsing or wiping. 4. Rinse if necessary • Rinse dishes and food-contact surfaces with clean water. • For general surfaces, wiping with a damp cloth is sufficient; rinsing is optional unless specified. 5. Storage and safety • Make fresh dilutions daily for best results. • For longer storage use filtered/purified water to maintain stability of product. • Store concentrate in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children. Tip: Always clean heavily soiled surfaces first, then apply BioCide cleaners for disinfection to ensure optimal hygiene and safety.

Here below is a list of common hard surfaces and materials to avoid or test first. If you are uncertain about a hard surface or material, testing is especially important. This applies to the following surfaces: • Unsealed or natural stone: marble, limestone, travertine, and some slate • Soft metals: aluminum, copper, brass, and certain alloys • Certain coatings or finishes: waxed or untreated wood surfaces • Delicate textiles or fabrics: silk, wool, or other sensitive fibers Always test a small, inconspicuous area first and follow the recommended dilution ratios for BioCide products to ensure safety.

Diluting our BioCide dishwashing gel or Multipurpose concentrate is simple and designed for everyday use: 1 part BioCide concentrate: 1000 parts water (99.9% germ reduction usually used for normal dishwashing and cleaning) • For a 500 ml container/solution: Mix 0.5 ml concentrate with 500 ml of water (500 ÷ 1000 = 0.5) • For a 1 litre container/solution: Mix 1 ml concentrate with 1000 ml water (1000 ÷ 1000 = 1) • For a small sink (+/- 2 litres water): Mix 2 ml concentrate with 2 litres water (2000 ÷ 1000 = 2) 1 part BioCide concentrate : 15 parts water (99.999% germ reduction usually for high-level cleaning and disinfection) • For a 500 ml container/solution: Mix 33 ml of concentrate with 500 ml of water (500 ÷ 15 = 33.33) • For a 1 litre container/solution : Mix 66 ml of concentrate with 1 litre of water (1000 ÷ 15 = 66.66) • For a 5 litres container/solution: Mix 333 ml of concentrate with 5 litres water (5000 ÷ 15 = 333.33) • For a standard 20-litre bucket: Mix 1.33 litres of concentrate with 20 litres water (20 ÷ 15 = 1.33) Tip: Use a syringe, small measuring spoon for small batches or a graduated measuring jug or kitchen scale for larger volumes. Mix gently to distribute evenly. Always allow the recommended minimum contact time for effective disinfection, and use clean filtered/purified water for dilution to ensure optimal performance.
